NSW: Car shooting not random, police say

SYDNEY, Feb 23 AAP - A man shot while sitting in his car in a quiet southwest Sydney
street was not the victim of a random attack and had arranged to meet his assailant, police
say.

They have yet to find a motive for the shooting of the 42-year-old man in Yagoona early
on Monday morning.

About 1am (AEDT) the man was shot in the arm by another man as he sat in his car in
Brancourt Avenue.

The injured man drove himself to Bankstown police station, parked at the side of the
station, and honked his horn a number of times to get the attention of the …
