Qld: Police start anti terrorist training for CHOGM

BRISBANE, Feb 9 AAP - Police are preparing for terrorist activity in the lead-up to
the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Brisbane later this year.

Commonwealth leaders, including the Queen, will visit Brisbane from October 6-9.

A counter-terrorist exercise, codenamed Northern Run, will be held in Brisbane and
the Sunshine Coast next week.

It will involve Queensland police and state and federal agents.
