Vic: Preslite workers return, car parts flow = 2

Mr Brooke said later that Preslite employees were working overtime tonight and tomorrow
to ensure vehicle manufacturers' supplies of wiper motors were replenished as quickly
as possible.

He confirmed that the car builders had contributed the $1 million to a trust fund for
Preslite staff's worker benefits.

"The guys are back at work and we are endeavouring to rebuild the business after being
closed for a day and a half," Mr Brooke said.

Mr Brooke said he was involved in discussions to sell Preslite as a going concern,
but would not reveal the identity of the potential buyer other than to say it was already
involved in vehicle components.
